The question would focus on identifying which motherboard maker has consistently utilized Asus throughout history.

There is a lot of research to be conducted on various motherboards from different makers. I'm sure you can locate reviews about them. I don't feel enough concern about comparing manufacturers, as my focus is more on evaluating the chipsets. Once you identify the chipset you need, you should easily find a suitable board. I previously chose Asus, but their recent models or earlier ones have been quite expensive and often had lower quality parts compared to the prior generation, even with higher prices. So, I'm hesitant to support Asus until they improve the value of their products. And while I don't mind enough to check on component quality, I still notice higher costs across their motherboards and GPUs compared to other brands.

Everything is fully installed and functioning. Upgrading to Windows 11 seems worthwhile now.

If the upgrade is free and accessible, then yes. For regular tasks, non-essential activities, using the newest software is advised.
