PCI - X stands for Peripheral Component Interconnect eXtended, a standard that boosts the 32-bit PCI local bus for increased bandwidth needed by servers and workstations. They were both Dell sizes. One measured 2400, the other 4600. The first had an LGA socket, while the second wasn't specified.
the cpus lacked pci, agp, or pcie built-in, the setup depended on the chipset. A few supported pcie for the pentium 4, others used agp, and some boards offered both. I've tested rx480s and similar models on pentium 4 systems—they functioned, though not reliably for 32bit drives on Windows (better on Linux).
