You should connect the splitter cable to the 3-pin slot on your motherboard. It doesn't require a 4-pin connection.

Is the cable linked to the 3-pin port on your motherboard? How can you verify if it handles more than 2.5 amps of current? You're planning to attach four RGB fans and one Phanteks neon digital LED RGB light, using the motherboard link provided.
