Only these options are considered; the 2666 kit is expected to work better.

Currently it's a 1:1 situation, we'll hold off until we get more responses before making a decision.

I would choose Kingston 2x8GB 2666Mhz CL16. The CL22 model is significantly slower, making the benefits of higher frequency and tighter sub-timing difficult to manage if you later decide to overclock. You can perform a simple calculation using the formula (CL / frequency) * 2000 to compare performance, which shows Kingston offering a better latency of 12ns versus A-DATA's 13.75ns. Keep in mind this number isn't the only measure of speed, but for those not planning to overclock, Kingston 2666 CL16 is a reliable option. If your board performs well and you have quality chips, you can always raise the frequency later.

Are you sure you require RAM immediately, or would it be better to wait until more is available?

I have a 2x4GB 3000Mhz CL16 and I’m thinking about increasing it to 16GB. It’s not urgent, but I’m curious about the costs involved...

No other set of two identical RAM sticks is available in your current inventory.
