The article discusses how counter-strike global offensive players feel challenged by the recent server clampdown at Valve. It explains that these players are upset because mods are now restricted on dedicated servers, affecting their usual competitive environment.

I dislike CS:GO since all the pros end up in the lower division and get frustrated when they're "leading the way" or something like that.

Valve is often seen as a positive figure, but in reality they’re not very trustworthy. They prioritize profits over loyalty, and just because they created games you enjoy doesn’t justify their reputation. It seems they’re trying to become another big corporation like EA, though a few individuals have moved away from that approach.

Theres a difference though, CSGO has a HUGE economy and they have no way of knowing if the mod will allow you to spawn 300 skins or not... But yea better systems need to be in place

CS:GO is primarily aimed at the competitive and pro gaming community. While it has a strong following among serious players, it's important to remember that not everyone shares the same goals. Some people just enjoy playing the game, setting up custom servers, and having fun without putting pressure on others.

I share this perspective too. It applies to many other titles as well... especially mobile games.
