well, most webcams are used for laptops where CPU is quite weak compared to its desktop counterpart
your cpu shouldnt be an issue
they list i5 7th gen as minimum
lets see
I5-7400 has 4 cores at 3GHz
i3-8100 has 4 cores at 3.6GHz
i see no issue here, 8th gen i3 is faster than 7th gen i5
