All things have changed, the edges are smoothed out, nothing appears or functions the same. It's terrible. It happened right after I restarted any office applications.

In the upper right hand corner, there is a small switch you can toggle to return to the previous setting. I tried the new design, but I disliked it and it slowed things down significantly.

The toggle switch exists but remains inactive. Disabling it has no effect.
