Hello, I'm experiencing difficulties starting games with Battleye on my PC. The system frequently blue screens when launching a game that uses Battleye as an anti-cheat, such as Fortnite and R6. This warning about BEDaisy.sys appears consistently. I've collected some details but haven't yet found a clear solution. I also reviewed the crash logs, which show the following error:

CRASH ERROR:
The QHProtected service failed to start because Windows couldn't verify the digital signature for this file. It's possible a recent hardware or software update installed an incorrectly signed or damaged file, or it could be malicious software from an unknown source.

BLUE SCREEN DETAILS:
BEDaisy.sys
page_fault_in_nonpaged_area

I recently replaced my motherboard because the previous one had a defect. I'm unsure how to verify the change or troubleshoot further. Occasionally R6 functions without crashing, but rarely does it. Every crash is identical in nature. Updating all components didn't resolve the issue. I suspect this problem is related to Battleye and possibly the motherboard modification.

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!
Did you change the motherboard to a different make or model? Are you reinstalling the operating system after replacing it? What version of Windows are you using? I'm assuming you're on Windows 10, ideally version 21H1. It would help if you shared your current hardware details before and after so we can check for any issues.

The motherboard model remains unchanged, which caused the OS to fail after a reboot. Reactivating the OS led to recurring issues, and blue screens appear during game launches involving battleye anticheats. The OS version is 10.0.19042 Build 19042-20H2, activated on 03/06/2021.

I possess identical specifications, having recently altered the motherboard because the previous one had a flaw. The new board remains from the same manufacturer and category—it's an ASUS TUF B450-Pro Gaming.

I collected more details about my crash logs each time I encounter a crash, and I receive warnings about the application-specific permission settings not allowing Local Activation for the COM Server application with the given CLSID and APPID to the user KYLE-PC\User SID. This security setting is available for modification via the Component Services administrative tool.
