World of Warcraft displays washed-out colors even with Ultra or High settings and DX12. I've adjusted the settings numerous times but still can't achieve a satisfactory result. Could it be that something is missing, or is HDR not supported in WoW? I've watched some YouTube videos suggesting HDR compatibility, which seem to work well. HDR appears to function properly with movies and TV, except for Forza Horizon 4, which performed excellently when using Ultra, HDR, and 4K. I upgraded my system last week and still need to upgrade my game library! Here are my recent system details:

GPU: Gigabyte NVIDIA Gigabyte RTX3070 8GB Gaming OC PCIe Video Card GV-N3070GAMING-OC-8GD
CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 5950x
CPU Cooler: Thermalright SilverArrow SB-E Extreme
RAM: G.Skill F4-3600C18D-64GTZN Trident Z Neo 64GB 3600MHz DDR4
Motherboard: ASUS ROG Strix X570-E Gaming Motherboard
SSD: Samsung 980 PRO 2TB PCIe 4.0 (up to 7,000 MB/s) NVMe M.2 (2280)
Monitor: Philips 436M6VBPAB 43inch 4K UHD LED Monitor, DisplayHDR1000 Certified

Please let me know if you need any further information. Thanks! 😊

PSU: specifications, model, power rating, age, state?
Verify hardware acceleration settings. Adjust as needed to see if it impacts performance.

Corsair 860W AX860 ATX Platinum Modular Power Supply, 80 PLUS Platinum. It matches the age of your CPU cooler and is still performing well!
Hardware acceleration isn't available in the game settings.
Thanks!

Additional notes:
Hardware acceleration available.

Change one element at a time and verify performance, particularly with games like WoW that show faded colors. Avoid modifying the registry or using external software tools.

I don't think WoW supports HDR. The best options are DX12 and ray tracing for shadows.

Absolutely, the setting you mentioned was active before, and turning it off didn't noticeably change things. I switched to Windows 10 recently and didn't recall the exact names of those options. DX12 and Ray Tracing were both enabled in the game settings, which did affect graphics quality, though the overall performance remained inferior to my previous system with a 1070 at 1440p resolution.
