To achieve top performance in online competitive games such as Fortnite, you need reliable internet speeds. A download speed of at least 500 Mbps and upload speed of 30-50 Mbps is generally recommended for smooth gameplay. Your current setup offers 310 Mbps download and 7-10 Mbps upload, which is decent but may limit lag or loading times. Upgrading to the suggested speeds could significantly improve your experience.

Fortnite and Steam can adjust those speeds, but only if they’re compatible with your device. If they work, you might not need to upgrade.

You likely won’t have to do much. Also, avoid using ABP, combine ublock origin and nano defender for a strong adblock solution that also blocks anti-blockers.

This would exceed what you require. It's better to save the additional $5.

It seems the details were a bit unclear. The initial version was quite strong. You didn’t need any changes. The connection speed is excellent, and the upload speed is also solid. With that upload, you can stream in 1080p at 60 frames per second.

Latency plays a significant role here. Many providers provide a trial period where you can pay for a month to try their faster internet plan. I recommend taking advantage of the trial to observe any clear improvements.

I'm not sure... Download speed seems crucial for gaming, right? I don't have any connection issues, but could a small boost help me perform better or gain an edge in competitive matches? What do you think?

Fortnite is indeed an online multiplayer game. Many people think it’s simple, but a stable internet connection with quick upload and download speeds isn’t the only factor in reducing lag. Even with a powerful custom PC built just for online play, poor network conditions can still cause high ping.
