Hi
I've been working on some home projects recently, aiming to assemble a PC for video editing and casual gaming. I checked pcpartpicker but haven't found a clear choice yet. While browsing, I stumbled upon a used PC that seemed fine at first glance, though I'm unsure if it can handle both 4K video editing and gaming smoothly. Would anyone know if this setup is suitable? Also, could you let me know the value of this machine?

AMD RYZEN 7 2700 16 CPUS 3.2
GTX 1070 EVGA HYBRID 8GB
RAM G SKILL 16 GB
SAMSUNG nvme 256 gb AND 750 hdd
MOBO ASUS ROG B450
CASE COOLER MASTER (https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1..._case.html)
The seller also included a 27 hp ZR2440w monitor.

Thank you in advance!

It depends on the Resolve version, resolution choice, and video complexity. Refer to the provided link for details. I handle YouTube videos and have tested on several PCs. I currently use 1080p with PowerDirector. My R1700 with 16GB RAM and Radeon R9 nano works adequately. Upgrading to 32GB and newer cards like 3900x and Radeon Vii improves performance, though not significantly. I spend more time on FS2020 due to the challenges with Mr Covid.

I'll need to utilize the pc for your YouTube video editing and I'll be using the free version of Davinci Resolve. Based on the specifications you provided, it seems this setup should work perfectly.
