What should you select from these two Lenovo options?
I’m looking into the Lenovo laptop in the V series. There are two models available, but the Amazon link indicates they’re very similar in configuration. Both have 8GB RAM, WiFi 6, a 512GB SSD with PCIe interface, and support Windows 11. They both feature a 14-inch TN panel with FHD display.
I’ve identified the following details:
Laptop 1: Lenovo v - 12th Gen Intel Core i3-1215U, DDR4 3200Mhz, 8GB RAM
Laptop 2: Lenovo v - Ryzen 3 7320U, DDR5 5500Mhz, 8GB RAM
Currently, there’s no information on whether the RAM can be upgraded, but I’m okay with a maximum of 8GB. Laptop 1 is slightly more expensive than Laptop 2 by around 35-40 USD.
From a speed and performance standpoint, Laptop 1 uses Intel i3 processor while Laptop 2 uses Ryzen 3, which may affect overall efficiency depending on your workload. For your needs—normal computing, YouTube, Chrome, Office, and light tasks—I’d lean toward the more affordable option unless you require higher performance.
Let me know if you need further clarification.
Both options satisfy your fundamental requirements, and results in this context will be nearly identical.
I would prefer the AMD model, particularly if it offers better value.
