Says you're planning for Q4/Q3 this year. If you're using CUDA, wait for Ampere and Zen 3 to release their updates and see what they bring.

Are you thinking to wait for the ampere price drop and the Turing Cards to fall in value, or should you look for affordable cards and CPUs and purchase them? Keep in mind your budget is £550.

Do you believe the build I’m planning will cost around £550? Last year I saw similar items in my Amazon cart—16GB DDR4 3200mhz RTX 2060 R5, Corsair 550w Asrock b450 steel legend Corsair Spec 05—and it came to £840, which was well beyond my budget. The motherboard was especially pricey because it needed Zen 2 support, something I think will be required again this year. I’ll hold off but wondering what you think if these costs don’t match your expectations.

You already possess what you need. It costs 500 pounds. Those things are difficult to fit.

An 8-core CPU is still relevant and can be improved by installing an SSD on the system. If it's already using an SSD, run the Windows refresh tool to give it a fresh feel. Next, consider upgrading with a modern GPU like the RX 5700XT for better performance.
