I'm thinking about purchasing a laptop. I'm considering the Lenovo LOQ RTX 4050 or 4060 with Ryzen 8000 series. It's September 2024, so should I buy now or wait for the RX 5000 series? Also, do you have any other laptop options to suggest?

Nvidia said they plan to release a new model around CES 2025, which is a few months away. If you wait until then and the NDA with reviewers ends, I’d hold off. If you really need a laptop right now for your daily tasks, it’s better to buy what’s coming out. Also, do you have any other laptop options you’d like suggestions on? Please include this information in the thread so we can assist you better.
