It's always wise to keep a recent version of your device drivers on a flash drive.
Don't rely solely on Windows for this task.

What steps do you take to obtain a recent copy of your hardware drivers on a flash drive?
Can I transfer the C:\Windows\System32\Drivers and C:\Windows\System32\DriverStore directories onto a flash drive for a fresh set of hardware drivers?
