The design and components involved aren't particularly special about it.
I could damage many people's fillings if we consider the so-called tier list.

All businesses experience their highs and lows. EVGA offers excellent models like the W1/N1, Corsair has older versions such as VS and CX before JonnyGuru joined them, SeaSonic provides affordable PSUs that are outsourced, and Super Flower has a selection of basic PSUs with low wattages available only in Asia. Among well-known brands, EVGA and Corsair typically have more quality PSU options compared to Thermaltake and Cooler Master, which have often released inferior products. With these two, it’s usually best to choose one of their top 20% releases. Ultimately, you’re not purchasing a generic PSU from any brand, but a specific unit that could be either good or bad.

I just wish better quality PSUs had RGB instead of fire hazard models with RGB to conceal their poor quality.

RGB values for enthusiast PSUs haven't really gained popularity since most PSUs are placed in areas not meant for display. And custom cases are continuously improving at concealing PSUs from view. For instance, with the Lian Li 011 Dynamic XL I, the PSU is hidden on the right side of the case and remains completely unseen by anyone looking at it.

I believe it would be helpful to see the PSU or at least its specifications displayed on the case. For instance, my previous HP workstation had the PSU specs visible on its side. It would be nice (though perhaps not essential) to have a similar feature—displaying the PSU details and offering a view of that side without any additional elements. What are your thoughts on this idea?

It doesn't really interest me personally—it's just a rectangular box with safety features. I don't really care about having RGB brakes on my car or an RGB gas cutoff valve in my furnace, unless such things exist (I suppose the first one might, but the second one probably won't). I'm not the master of PC building, after all, since everyone's opinions can differ.

I thought it too, so when I needed to swap my PSU back in the summer of 2015, I purchased a fairly costly Seasonic 660W platinum model. At that moment, the GPU I had was a modest 1050 ti and I intended to replace it within a year or so.
