I am an OC running an i5-6600k with a Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1070 G1. How much power do I require? Would a 520W unit suffice, or should I opt for something more powerful?

I would maintain that Seasonic unless you believe you might need to run SLI later.

CTurbo would keep that Seasonic unless you believe you might run SLI later. I don't think I'd run SLI in the future, so do you think a 520w would be sufficient to upgrade both the CPU and GPU?

I would choose an EVGA GS or G2 or a RMx 550.

I have an OC i5-6600k paired with a Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1070 G1. How much power do I need? Would my current 520W be sufficient, or should I upgrade to something more powerful?

PCPartPicker part list
CPU: Intel Core i5-6600K 3.5GHz Quad-Core ($227.99 @ SuperBiiz)
CPU Cooler: CRYORIG H7 49.0 CFM ($34.88 @ OutletPC)
Motherboard: Asus Z170 PRO GAMING ATX LGA1151 ($137.98 @ Newegg)
Memory: G.Skill Ripjaws V Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4-2400 ($65.99 @ Newegg)
Storage: Samsung 250GB 2.5" SSD ($72.89 @ OutletPC)
Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB 3.5" ($49.49 @ OutletPC)
Video Card: Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1070 8GB G1 ($389.99 @ Newegg)
Case: NZXT S340 (Black/Red) ATX Mid Tower ($66.99 @ SuperBiiz)
Power Supply: SeaSonic 520W 80+ Bronze Certified ($49.99 @ Newegg)

Total cost comes to $1096.19, including shipping and taxes.
If you don’t plan on SLI, it’s okay. If you do, I’d recommend this option.

That 520w Seasonic model is sufficient and serves well as a power supply unit. The $49 price is excellent, though I believe there might be a $10 rebate available.

The 650G is a weak power supply, don't purchase it.

The EVGA SuperNOVA G1 GOLD 650W isn't the most reliable power supply. There are always better alternatives available at the same cost or less.

CTurbo:
The EVGA SuperNOVA G1 GOLD 650W is considered a below average power supply in terms of reliability. There are always better alternatives available at the same price or lower.
Indeed, they tend to be unstable and unreliable.
