My initial experience with PC gaming started with NFS 3 and Quake 2. Then I moved on to Age of Empires, StarCraft, Half-Life, Delta Force, Carmageddon 2, Unreal Tournament, SiN, Legacy of Kain, Soul Reaver, NFS4, NFS5, C&C Red Alert, and C&C Generals. To this day, we still play Quake 2 matches, which remains the most enjoyable multiplayer experience we've had.

I grew up playing on consoles—Donkey Kong, Pac-Man, Pong, Sonic, Fzero, Another World, and more. My first PC game was probably a 4D stunts car and some old flight sims like Midtown Madness. In Iraq, you had to land a fighter jet yourself, which was pretty cool and more immersive than Ace Combat, even though the graphics were terrible. By the way, my friends managed to get a Silicone Graphics "PC" for us. We tried to run games over the weekend but nothing worked, and we don’t know what happened afterward. It did have some neat demo visuals, though. We imagined playing real-life Jurassic Park, but it wasn’t the case.

Many 'Legend of the Red Dragon' discussions pop up on local BBSes. I've been wanting to create my own telnet BBS, but it's quite a lot of effort and honestly... I'm too lazy. For single-player titles, I spent some time playing 'Wizard's Castle', '4D Stunts', tons of Tetris, and some EGA platformers such as Commander Keen and Duke Nukum. Later in high school, I got into Command & Conquer Red Alert, Quake III Arena, Diablo 1 and 2, and then moved on.
