I'm working on restoring my old computer and turning it into a powerful machine. It's an OC-enabled Pentium 3 board with 1GB of RAM, a decent GPU (ATI 9600, 9700, 3D Rage, etc.), and so on. The manual suggests you can overclock almost everything, and I'm confident the CPU can be pushed to its limits. I'm just puzzled about the PCI and AGP bus overclocking. Why would I want to do that? I see cache, processor, and FSB mentioned, but why bother overclocking those? Wasn't there software available to OC GPUs back then? I don’t really understand, since I mostly used 2006/2004 Pentium 4 machines and mostly laptops. I have no idea why I’d want to do this. Thanks!
