It seems you're questioning Nvidia's support for older graphics cards on Windows 8. You might want to search online or visit their site for details. You could even swap it with a potato—it won't be noticed!

XP isn't supported anymore. It's not possible to install W8. Consider using Ubuntu with a Windows-style interface instead.
