Which notebook should I consider purchasing?
Consider these factors:
- Not intended for gaming purposes
- Desired use cases to evaluate the laptop/notebook investment
- Quiet operation preference
- Awareness that most laptops become noisy due to heat; solutions include better thermal paste, pads, and undervolting
- Avoiding brands like Lenovo or Medion
- Exploring alternatives at comparable or lower cost
- Location in Germany and budget constraints

Thanks a lot! My routine includes office work, downloading files, watching videos, listening to music, some image editing, and occasionally video editing. I’m not very familiar with everything, but I think getting the paste onto the right area might be tricky for me. Undervolting (whatever it is) sounds risky, but putting pads under the notebook could be something I can handle. It looks like they really sell the last bits of notebooks—Leno beats Medion, unless I’d bought at least one. Amazon is my only option since I have an account there. Yes, Germany. Around 800 € / 920 €.
