What names would you use for your uncommented multiplayer gameplay videos?
I'm not sure if this is the best place for this, but it's about PC gaming: I regularly upload a lot of 4K 60FPS multiplayer game clips to YouTube without any commentary, especially for older titles. My main challenges are figuring out how to title my videos and whether thumbnails are even necessary.
Some example titles include:
Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War multiplayer 2024 on Apocalypse [4K 60FPS]
PC – Insurgency Sandstorm in 2024 – Gang War Push gameplay (No commentary) 4K 60FPS
Medal of Honor Allied Assault in 2024 – Multiplayer gameplay (No commentary) 4K 60FPS #7
Counter-Strike 2 | Multiplayer 2024 | No commentary | Office | DM | ULTRA 4K 60FPS
Counter-Strike 1.6 | Multiplayer gameplay 2024 [No commentary, 4K 60FPS] #1
Advice on titles, naming order, and what to include or skip is welcome!
Thanks!
Your guidelines for searching, sorting, and filtering video titles are clear. The tools used should match your needs, and consistency is key. Wildcards can vary, but the approach must remain uniform. Ensure all filenames follow the permitted character set.
Hey, thanks for the reply! The consistency part is probably quite important!
In terms of naming - I'm talking about YouTube naming for SEO, or how best to name the videos so that it will attract more viewers. I've switched back and forth quite a lot in terms of adding more detail and numbering videos vs no numbering and less detail (adding map name and game mode vs. just putting "[game name] multiplayer gameplay in 2024 no commentary"
Learning how to draw more viewers starts with being "found" first.
There are numerous books and online resources available.

This shows the importance of having a clear and consistent naming system.
When someone types "Sandstorm," they may find "Insurgency Sandstorm" more relevant faster.
Typically, searches move from broad to specific.
What truly counts is the value of your content and how engaging it is.
Viewers should enjoy watching and listening, which encourages them to save your site and return.
If you're only focusing on yourself, just have fun and avoid getting caught up in SEO details.
Fair enough, but it's more enjoyable when people are watching! I think I'll ease my worries about the video titles and just continue posting.
