What might be the problem?
If the problem were related to the GPU, you should notice it more often, but you mentioned it only happens in the first 10 minutes. Your GPU drivers appear to be in good condition since they are up-to-date. Have you performed a clean installation—removing and then reinstalling the drivers—as this might resolve the issue? I don’t want to bother you, but your GPU isn’t performing well with the artifacts it’s generating.
I completed a fresh GPU driver setup directly inside the GeForce Experience interface.
Usually it's sufficient with GeForce Experience, have you tried DDU? With these tools, it seems to work only in two titles, not elsewhere. For the two games you mentioned having problems, it might be an engine-related issue since both use Unreal Engine 4 and 5. This would suggest more users experience the same problem. Could your GPU still be under warranty?
I've checked Horizon Zero Dawn, no problems with Elite Dangerous Odyssey, God of War: same issue as the videos, just a few minor spots. DDU, it's not covered under warranty. I bought it in 2018, so around four years ago—it’s not under any kind of protection.
I looked up what DDU stood for after searching, followed safe mode, and it seems to have resolved the issue. The Hogwarts part was a different matter, but thanks for the tip, Seb_1!
I attempted to proceed, but received a minor warning. It seems the problem isn't present yet—I haven’t encountered any issues so far. The only thing affecting me appears to be a possible GPU driver corruption. I’m curious about what might have triggered it, since my operating system hasn’t been installed for very long.
The problem has come back again. I haven’t made any changes to my PC, and the same issues are appearing. I don’t understand why it worked on Monday but not today—yesterday I was using it and hadn’t touched it. I ran some tests about two weeks ago when I bought a new sound system (https://en.creative.com/p/speakers/creative-stage-360). It’s connected via HDMI to my GPU and also through DisplayPort. Could this be the cause? The issue disappears if I disconnect the soundbar, but it remains when I connect it. I’m confused about what might be wrong and would appreciate any suggestions.
If it was the displayport / hdmi connection, it should remain consistent even after changing software. I think the soundbar isn't the problem since it mainly requires an audio signal. It seems to be affecting only those two games, or possibly all games now.
