Hello everyone, here’s my story with you all.
It began a while ago, probably about two years back, when I faced frequent PC reboots—usually once a month at most. I didn’t give it much thought; I thought it was just because I was playing tough games. But lately, these reboots happen even when I’m idle. Two days ago, I bought a new power supply, suspecting it might be the old one’s age (around six years). I also noticed my keyboard backlight flickering during gameplay. Now, after swapping the PSU and playing a game, the flickering disappeared. I played for a few minutes, then another reboot occurred. Since then, I can still use the PC for browsing, but gaming is completely off-limits—my machine reboots after just five minutes of play.
I’m confused about what’s causing this. The new PSU is fresh, the graphics card was replaced about two months ago, and Windows was just reinstalled before I wrote this. All that’s left are the drives, CPU, RAM, and the motherboard. I’m unsure where to start. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!
MB: MSI B450-A PRO
What BIOS version are you on for your motherboard?
GPU: ZOTAC GeForce RTX 3070
Did you remove all GPU drivers using DDU then manually reinstalled the latest GPU drivers sourced from Nvidia's support site in an elevated command, i.e, Right click installer>Run as Administrator?
Did you replace the thermal paste on your CPU's cooler? Make and model of your case, the number and orientation of the fans in said case and your ambient room air temps?
Windows was freshly reinstalled
What OS are you working with? Where did you source the installer for the OS? Did you install the OS in offline mode?

most Silverstone Strider Essential models I've encountered are of poor quality and not suited for heavy-duty applications such as gaming. The RTX 3070 series demands a minimum power consumption of 650-750 watts. Even with a supply that meets this requirement, it might still fail to deliver a stable connection, leading to system resets.

If feasible, I would test the GPU on another system and check if the symptoms follow it.
