For whatever reason only in Overwatch does my GPU not boost much. It stays around 1500MHz instead of reaching 1900MHz+. This makes it hard to maintain a steady frame rate of 144 or higher, which is really frustrating. Is there any way to make my GPU run faster? Or are there other options?

Which driver version are you using? Have you tried removing and reinstalling the drivers with DDU, and did this affect your experience? If it's only available in Overwatch, you may want to adjust resolution and in-game settings to see if it restores the GPU's performance.

Driver version: 430.86. I attempted to adjust in-game settings and render scale, which slightly increased my card boost (around 2000MHz at maximum, 200% rss). However, my FPS is still constrained by these details, preventing me from reaching 144 frames. I plan to reinstall the driver using DDU now, hoping it will resolve the issue.

What is GPU and CPU usage? Check the maximum usage per single core, not the total CPU load.

Six threats were around 20%, while others were near 40% (depending on the map). The GPU performance was between 10% and 20%. Is a 2700X sufficient for intense Overwatch gameplay?

I reinstalled driver 430.86 with DDU, and my frame rate increased while my core clock boosted again (up to 1935MHz). However, occasionally it drops from around 270 to about 120 for a few hundred milliseconds. Maybe I should lower my settings? Also, why does a clean reinstall seem to fix the issue? I’m not sure.

Since you received a Windows update, the system tends to prioritize its own drivers over third-party ones, opting for newer versions or updated date codes. It doesn't bother with the rest of the drivers being out of sync.

The next day brings more playtime, but my frame rate remains unstable once again. Since the last GPU driver install with DDU, nothing has changed. Do you have any additional tips that might help resolve this problem? I'm running out of ideas.

Overwatch includes some strong graphics adjustments that can put a noticeable strain on your GPU and lead to sudden frame drops. This particular tweak improved our FPS by half a dozen percent. Discover this "unique method" to significantly raise your frames per second. www.pcgamer.com

The first video demonstrates a cartoon character gliding over water, while the second shows no such effect. Displaying additional cartoons or multiple ones can trigger unexpected performance spikes. The greater the resolution or FPS, the more pronounced the impact.
