What methods exist for enhancing the performance of an i7 2600k running on an Asrock H61M-GS?
I just bought an i7 2600k for my gaming setup. It performs well, but I’m struggling to find a method to overclock it. The multiplier can go up to 38, but that seems like turbo boost rather than something else. I checked the Asrock website about my motherboard and it mentions support for Intel K series processors. Here are my specs: I7 2600K at 3.8 Ghz, Asrock H61M-GS, Gigabyte nvidia 1050ti, 16GB DDR3 1333Mhz, 265Gb SSD, and a 2TB hard drive. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
It works with K series chips and will run them. However, it doesn't allow 'true' overclocking. You can boost non-K chips using "bins" adjustments, which generally enable x4 performance—though this needs a compatible chipset. On a locked board, you're likely restricted to the turbo clock only.

I didn't expect the news, but thank you for your assistance. Where can I locate these bins?
It's not really about locating them, but rather what you can achieve with an original character creation. That applies to a "locked" SKU on an overclocking board. For instance, with an i5-2400 on P67, you could boost the +4 "bins" (+400MHz) beyond the turbo clock. A 2400 turbo clocks at 3.4GHz, so pushing that locked chip should reach around 3.8GHz across all cores. But with an unlocked chip on a locked board, the situation is different.
