I understand it varies based on the number of fans, brand, case, etc. But I’m curious if there’s a method to check CPU and GPU performance under stress to confirm your components are handling the workload effectively, since not all games are equally demanding. For my main game, World of Warcraft, it doesn’t seem overly intensive. My GPU and CPU typically run around 60% during gaming and drop to about 30% when idle. Models like B650 Tomahawk, 7800x3d, 7900gre, ThermalRight Phantom Spirit 120SE.

While playing games, your GPU and CPU are near 60°C and 30°C when idle. You pay taxes on other programs too. You might check 3Dmark's benchmarks to see the temperatures (with HWinfo) and the scores you achieve.

For extreme testing (not meant for real-world use), use Prime95 with minimal FFTs and AVX turned off. With the GPU, FurMark is suitable. Running them together gives the worst possible scenario.
