I'm concerned about my PC's performance lately. I've encountered this issue with RE6 where certain cutscenes display strange and inconsistent character animations. This wouldn't be a problem on its own, but when I played Cyberpunk 2077, I noticed a character model malfunctioning. Although the behavior differed from RE6, I remain worried it might indicate a hardware issue. I've run my computer through benchmarks, and everything seems normal, yet I'm still unsure. Can you help me distinguish between a hardware problem and a gameplay bug?

Game bugs would be unique to each game and limited to that specific engine. A general issue would affect multiple titles, not just one.

hardware issues are usually the same across different games.

What you're explaining is probably not a hardware problem, but rather an issue where the game isn't functioning properly. Such problems usually involve crashes, distorted images, or missing assets.

Would this be considered corrupted textures?

I think so, because the physics are failing and the broken pieces aren't resolving properly.

It seems like a faulty hardware issue might be causing this problem, not just the model itself.

Hardware problems are usually more serious than just stuttering, but stuttering can appear in various titles if it's a temperature issue, a driver problem, or even some software that competes for resources. I often notice the RGB software causing odd micro stutter in certain games on specific machines. If temperatures are stable, I suspect the issue lies with the game or software rather than hardware.
