What methods are available to reduce the voltage supplied to your CPU?
Yes, it is possible to undervolt your CPU on an i5 9400f with a b365 pro4 motherboard. It can sometimes reach 1.25V.
The BIOS needs a feature to modify negative voltage offset. This allows dynamic adjustment of voltage, even when set to automatic.
do you notice unusually high temperatures? why are you considering lowering your cpu voltage?
I think Intel CPUs work well at up to 1.35V. It might function at 1.5V, though I'm not motivated to verify right now. Either way, 1.25V remains acceptable.
