I'm trying to replace the fan on a Sabrent dual bay USB enclosure. I can't get the connector to budge. There seems to be some play if i move it side to side but not up and down. Is there a trick to these kinds of connectors? I didn't see any kind of locking mechanism on the plug

Occasionally I need to insert a tiny screwdriver into the side opening (bottom in the photo) of the connector and push it out.

The white object consists of two parts. There is sufficient lip on the upper piece to accommodate fingernails or a small screwdriver, allowing you to lift it.

You can observe a gap in the connector at the base PCB, directly beneath the red wire. There should be a similar gap on both sides, which I utilize to loosen the latch when necessary.
