What method is used to load Afterburner configurations in advance?
My graphics card, 1070 Ti, appears to be malfunctioning. A few months ago it began crashing under stress, showing graphical issues and freezing the interface. Later, it would crash even without any load. I adjusted the core and memory frequency by 200 Mhz, which temporarily restored functionality. However, it started glitching again, so I further reduced both settings to 300. Recently, I attempted to run at 250 Mhz, but the graphics driver crashed immediately without any load. After reinstalling drivers multiple times and even reinstalling Windows, I still can't get the graphics driver to load properly. The Device Manager displays error 43 for the card, and I receive a prompt to force a reinstall every time it starts. When I disable and re-enable the device, the screen briefly shows graphical errors before returning to normal. Afterburner is disabled, no GPU information appears, but GPU-Z identifies the card model. It reports zero MB of graphical memory and no sensor data from the GPU (core frequency at 0). As a last attempt, I considered preloading afterburner settings so the underclocking could be applied automatically during driver loading, hoping it might help temporarily. I searched through the configuration files but didn’t find any clear core or memory frequency settings. Additionally, I notice black horizontal lines with white noise dots appear when running at resolutions other than 800x600.
