I had a project for a long time ago. I own a PS2 console with a steering wheel, and recently I bought an adapter from USB to PS2. It works with the joystick but not with the wheel? This is how it looks below. I tried universal drivers, but nothing worked. Anyone have any idea? I’ll try again and see if it functions!

Probably the PS2-USB adapter you bought does not support steering wheels. Very few do.
Does it have a switch on it to swap between gamepad and wheel? If not, then probably it only supports gamepad.

The initial issue involves the adapter likely relying on DirectInput as its controller interface, which isn't compatible with current titles that only support XInput. There are wrappers converting DirectInput to XInput, but I haven't tested them to confirm functionality. The second concern is that the racing wheel will appear as a standard controller for the PC rather than a specialized racing device. Modern controllers often repurpose inputs from racing wheels, such as mapping steering to the left stick and acceleration/braking to the Y-axis or right stick. Without remapping keybindings, the setup won't function as intended.
