Welcome to the forums, newcomer!
Disconnect all connections made from the PSU to your devices/components. Please list the specs to your build like so:
CPU:
CPU cooler:
Motherboard:
Ram:
SSD/HDD:
GPU:
PSU:
Chassis:
We already know your 2 new parts are the GPU and PSU listed in your initial post.
MSI MAG M100A is equipped with a built-in PSU of 600 watts, an X570 i7-12700F processor, NVME Gen 3 MLD M300 storage, GIGABYTE H610M H V2 DDR4 1700 RAM, RAMPAGE OCTAGON C50 graphics card, GSKILL F4 32GB (2x16) at 3600MHz.
Thank you, but I believe I've already removed the screws in the back, though it's not moving there. I took a photo, but I can't upload it.
Is the hard drive cage obstructing your movement to access the power supply? Have you attempted to remove the cage for better access? Are the power supply cables too short, making it difficult to extract them?
the hard drive cage could be the issue, but I'm unsure about removing it. The screws are circular and small, making it even harder, and I don't know if they're detachable. I think the ones at the back aren't regular screws—they might be rivets instead.
If you attempt to pull the power supply toward you, it will be suspended in midair. What is preventing it from falling further depends on the setup.
