What method is used to configure wired audio in a meeting space?

We also have a meeting room that supports video calls.
Right now, we're using the CM 200 from Balila, like this one:

It includes a central speaker and five wireless microphones. It functions fine, though the mics tend to disconnect or need constant charging.
I’m curious if there’s an alternative wired setup available, or if it’s possible to configure one without too much trouble. My first thought would be using a USB sound card with enough inputs for all the mics and an output for the speaker, but that would need a different power source for the speaker. Would a CM 200-like system with wired microphones be feasible?

You might consider trying something similar or check out the Zoom option for multiple microphones.
