I can't locate a method to delete that particular search bar, but it appears to appear each time a new tab is opened.

You can upload your pictures to a platform similar to Imgur and share a connection for us to view. On the other hand, remember what software you had installed before the search tool appeared on your desktop interface.

This is the search interface I encounter when opening new tabs. I recently switched to Win11.

This seems to be a reference to Microsoft Edge, possibly inquiring about its functionality or appearance.

New tabs like in Edge or a new Task View?
My guess is this would be under the Copilot settings or related to the sidebar and other browser options, depending on the platform (browser or desktop).
Unfortunately, I’ve put in a lot of effort to remove all AI/Copilot/Assistant elements and won’t try to adjust checkboxes just to locate it. Sorry.

Not using the usual "search bar" in Edge that has been around for a long time.

I've been using a news feed style layout for quite some time now, and I never thought to think about the stock search box on a new tab. Turns out it's there, right at the top.

I'm not fully sure about my response but it seems that instead of opening the new tab directly, I could choose a page that interests me. There doesn't appear to be a way to remove that bar in Edge except by adding news feed, weather, widgets, etc. You might want to check other browsers or look for a customizable skin to hide it.

Will right-clicking an empty space on the desktop and disabling "Show Search" eliminate the search bar? If not, you might have to open Task Manager to locate and close "DesktopSearchBoxCentennial".

This appears to be the search field in the Edge browser when opening a new tab, rather than on the main desktop interface.
