Check the specific configuration on your MSI Unify board to optimize the 10900's performance. Adjust the power limits accordingly. Be mindful of additional settings that could impact stability or efficiency when unlocking features.

I've never tried Throttlestop before, so I won't be able to assist there.
I'm not sure. Trying it is part of the process for pushing devices past their limits.
I mentioned what NOT to do with it, at least.
No one explicitly said you must do it.

They adjusted the BCLK setting. "The CPU won't start if BCLK is 103 or above." They also increased power limits, probably in higher CPU configurations. A motherboard manual is the best resource for locating this information. Cooling is a concern.

It is the 10900k model that offers an unlockable multiplier.
However, your device remains locked because its power draw is capped at 65W, whereas the k version has a higher TDP of 125W.
Despite claims from some users that MSI has managed to surpass this limitation via BIOS updates, I remain skeptical about long-term stability.
The motherboard isn’t built with VRMs to handle the additional load, and even if you manage it, you’d likely need a dual AIO to maintain safe CPU temperatures.
Some may say yes, they’ve had success, but these are just my views.

The review mentions using a program named throttlestop to modify the power limit. It also points out the base clock setting and asks about its configuration. The question is about adjusting the base clock if power limits are removed in Windows, and why that adjustment is necessary. The reviewer is unsure about the exact steps and is seeking clarification on their setup.
