What Macs have Kepler GPUs?
While experimenting with Linux, I mistakenly changed my Big Sur bootable SD card into a Linux Mint 17.3 install media. I chose MacPro 2019 (UUID MacPro7,1) as the identifier, but it lacks a Kepler GPU. It seems I need to pick a model with a Kepler GPU instead. Since I couldn’t locate any Macs with NVIDIA or Kepler chips, anyone have recommendations or resources for finding such devices?
The 2014 MacBook Pro and 2013 iMacs were the final models featuring NVIDIA GPUs (besides Mac Pros)
An iMac 14.2, thanks! It doesn’t include Big Sur support, but I believe the Big Sur micropatcher might work. I’m hoping it will.
