Hi. I'm returning my Lenovo Legion Y540 because its battery performance is terrible. I'm looking for a new gaming laptop now. Here are my preferences:
Budget: about $1100
Processor: Intel Core i5 or better (or AMD equivalent)
Graphics: Nvidia Geforce GTX1660 ti or better
Good cooling system
Long battery life, since I'll be using it at college
Any recommendations?

What constitutes a good battery duration? What specifications are required for the display, memory, and space? And regarding your question about college laptops—do you believe they require distinct designs?

Good battery performance should last a minimum of five hours under light usage when not playing games. Screen size isn’t important to me, so I didn’t add that to my list. I’m looking for at least 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. A gaming laptop should handle all my college needs.

Isn't it better to invest in a PC and a more affordable laptop now that GPU prices are dropping?
