In short, I purchased memory from AliExpress, opened Thaiphoon, but the software couldn’t determine the type of die it uses. Is there a method to confirm the exact die model? Yes, I’m not running D.O.C.P or tweaking timings—I just received the PC parts yesterday and didn’t have time or patience to adjust them manually. I’m trying to use a DRAM Calculator for Ryzen.

Only provides Micron packages which appears to be an E-Die/Rev.E variant; you might verify performance below 17 TRCD across various frequencies. If it doesn't meet the timing requirements, it suggests an E-Die condition.

Rev. e isn't necessarily a lower-tier E-die. The note mentions compatibility with high-frequency designs and no need for tuning, which suggests it's a capable option.

OP - Your Thaiphoon isn't the newest update. Each latest release usually includes fresh details.

It's also known as Micron Rev.E or E-Die. The chip works best with high-frequency uses. For clocks under 3600Mhz, it's seen as low-tier due to TRCDRD restrictions on Intel systems—you'd need to tweak both TRCDRD and TRCDWR together, which complicates things. But when you go beyond that, performance improves significantly.

For an OC lover, Samsung B-die stands out. This test works well with Ryzen 3000 chips—see the link for details.
