What kind of computer should I purchase for my new employee?
Hello,
I need to provide my employee with a work computer. They will be handling multimedia and professional video editing tasks. The machine should also support modern video games at 60+ frames per second. The budget is $5000.
My employee requested the Beelink desktop model. I’m worried about whether the specifications are sufficient.
Here’s the link to the product:

Could you please share laptop and desktop/monitor suggestions for these three price ranges:
1) $1500
2) $3000
3) $5000?
Your guidance would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you!
Welcome to the forums, newcomer! I am providing my employee with a work computer. They will be handling multimedia tasks and professional video editing. Additionally, the machine should support modern video games at 60+ frames per second. The budget is $5000. Users are encouraged to format their threads with details about the requests made in this discussion; *How to Ask for New Build or Upgrade Advice*. Initially, it's important to acknowledge the right place for respectful communication – this adaptation comes from the *How To Ask For New Build Advice* post on Animal. I developed it because many people are currently seeking upgrade guidance here and in the CPU forums, and I believe... forums. the community will offer helpful advice. You may wish to mention the system titles you plan to use and the multimedia and professional video editing applications to assist in shaping your build. If the forum can provide laptop and desktop/monitor suggestions across three budget levels 1) $1500 2) $3000 3) $5000 you should open a thread for each tier. This thread appears to be an effort to gather information and then produce a personal blog post or article. No offense, but it seems like the original intent. Moved thread from Components section to Systems section.

Apologies but I remain "stuck" on the "games" condition.
Do you need the employee to work or play games?
Most application developers list hardware needs as "minimal," "recommended," and "best."
You don’t want the minimal option, but you’d like the highest possible "best" within your budget.
As asked by @USAFRet, what applications and requirements are needed?
Is there a particular reason requiring a "gaming computer"? For example, testing games or video editing for them?
Just wondering...
