Hello, I'm ready to assemble my first gaming PC. I have two options: Ryzen 3 3100 and Ryzen 5 2600. Both are similar in price locally, but I need to think about the long-term. The 3100 seems better for gaming right now, while the 2600 has more cores and threads. I'm unsure if its 4 cores will last longer than 6. Which one should I choose? Thanks ahead!
Likely around the 2600 or 1600 AF with the same processor. Unless you upgrade to the 3300X, which offers some benefits compared to the 3100. It doesn’t make much difference if you’re playing at 60 frames per second.
