I was working on some practice laps around the Nurburgring using my Farrari 458 GT2 in Assetto Corsa. I completed six laps with an average time of around 7:10, which is solid. However, a friend on the server mentioned someone had started a vote to remove me for an unclear reason. Since I hadn’t interacted with anyone during the race—always raced clean and never affected anyone—I had a ping of only 80. I’m puzzled about why I was banned and kicked until the server restarted, which took about 11 hours. It’s really confusing and surprising.

You were competing with an admin? Disappointing... Or maybe you lost to a loser?

No, I didn't create that thread. It was just a question about why someone was removed from a game.

I needed to share what just occurred, it's really nothing to worry about.

It's true what happens often—even in popular games like BF4—it can interrupt a great gaming experience.

Often it's confusion over who's who, with someone acting poorly and having a name similar to yours, leading to a vote against them instead.

It might just be a possibility, to be honest—I don’t recognize any names there.
