It didn’t work as expected. After pressing f11, I was presented with four options (linked in the image below). I tested each one, but it always brought me back to the EFI screen.

This suggests a problem with your HDD and/or SSD. You might need to lift the cover to identify the type of storage devices you have.

The link I have is for storage devices. I own two Western Digital 500GB drives; the other is inside the tower.

So neither of those show up in your boot options, correct?
If both are attached properly (SATA data to each device and the motherboard AND SATA power from the PSU), this may be a motherboard failure. This is an older system (4th gen Intel).
You can try changing to different SATA ports on the motherboard.
