My favorite games are racing, RPGs with a lot of characters (called JRPGs), simple puzzles, shooters, and action-adventure games. I haven't played many of these recently, though! Racing: I love Extreme G from the old N64 days, Mario Kart, Need for Speed - Most Wanted, Redout: Enhanced Edition, and Boson X. It's not really about racing, but it's an indie game where levels get faster and faster as you collect more energy until you crash. RPGs/JRPGs: I like Tales of series from Pokemon up to the 3rd season (Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald). After that, it got bloody ridiculous, in my opinion. FFVII... (it was the first one I had a chance to play, so maybe I can't help it) Chrono Trigger Seiken Densetsu 3, now called Trials of Mana Phantasy Star Online 1/2/Blue Burst World of Warcraft - Wrath of the Lich King best X-pac. Puzzle: Sudoku is okay from time to time! Shooters: Goldeneye 007, Star Fox - Snes and N64 versions, Metroid - Super & Prime Trilogy. Action-adventure: Some of my most memorable games are old Rareware titles before they went bad. Banjo/Kazooie 1 & 2, Donkey Kong Country 1/2/3/64, Conker's Bad Fur Day, Legend of Zelda: OoT, Majora's Mask, Link to the Past (even though I couldn't solve some dungeons on my own without a guide... SMH), Okami. Honorable Mentions: Streets of Rage 2, Super Smash Bros series, Super Street Fighter 2 (when combos were easier to do, XD!), Soul Calibur 2, and One Finger Death Punch *Yea, all fighting games. Not one of my favorite genres, but some of them really pulled me in.
I don't care about the hype when I play Minecraft either. I just watch videos of other people playing it sometimes so I can see how they do it before I spend my own money on it... Sometimes it feels lonely and stuck inside alone, but that's weird because I like some single player games too. You can invite friends to join you, but they won't be there all the time. At its core, Minecraft is a big sandbox game with just one person in it... That explains why I feel so lonely... And even though you have NPCs (non-player characters), they don't really help. They are not very friendly or special except for maybe some Creeper things!
Well no the reason Minecraft is so popular is because a lot of people have very creative minds or want to build great things with there bare hands someone actually built the ENTIRE earth on Minecraft and actually a lot of adults are the ones who make these amazing projects there's another server that made all of Russia (I believe) I use to have a very creative mind so I loved playing Minecraft now I am not that creative so it's no longer fun there's also others who mod the crap out of the game like Skyrim totally changing the game and some of the mods are very awesome and make the game more fun or harder for hardcore players. I love The Sims series I know EA made it into a cash grab but I just can't hate the game it's sort of like a huge part of my childhood as I didn't get into all types of games till I was like 8 so the game holds a very special place in my heart esp. sims 2 but I like sims 4 just hope sims 5 is better. Bully...I prefer it over GTA people believe because the game is called "bully" it's a bad game where you bully kids but in reality, the story is pretty wholesome the protagonist just wants to have a peaceful school life and stop the bullying so he bullies the bullies into submitting to him and making the school a more peaceful place, of course, you CAN beat up kids and bully them but that isn't the main focus of the game at all it's about changing the school to be more peaceful and not have fighting. I don't really have any other games that stick with me BUT I can say a few genres I love: Mystery JRPG/RPG Adventure MMO and Open World.
Thanks for all your replies and explanations! I just changed how the topic title reads a bit better. Right now are you playing Game on your PC? Anyways, how many of you can actually play and beat the DARK SOULS series (any of them, like 1, 2, or 3)? This game is very hard to beat, and I couldn't even skip past the first two levels lol.... Even with cheat codes/TRAINERS I was unable to proceed further in the Game. Because, I couldn't figure out where to go next, since there is NO objective marker, and we don't have proper mouse/keyboard prompt buttons, if that's not wrong. Sometimes I got lost because there is no MAP as well I think? But anyways, the entire DS series is really tough to beat at least in my opinion. Though, I've heard others don't have any problem, and they have also completed 2 playthroughs as well.
I do play some TF2 occasionally, and capturing the flag feels pretty fun.
If you think about playing WITCHER 3 again, look at this mod and the videos. It sounds cool to me because it is different from Skyrim but feels kind of similar. I have never been able to finish this game before, so now I might try it all over again. Some people might not like it though. There are two links here on nexusmods.com about mods 3346. One modder made a pretty cool thing for The Witcher 3 called "Magic Spells for Signs." This new mod lets you cast meteors and tornadoes, summon golems, and more. To get in the details, this mod adds new magic items that change or replace signs when you have them equipped on your quick and trophy slots. You can buy these items from merchants named ofieri and novigradian. Also, each item has a special description to help connect it with the game's story. In order for spells to work, you need to put some quick slot items in your quick slot (where the torch is) and just choose one, like you would choose a bomb or a crossbow. It also helps if you use this console command: witchermage. You can see more info on nexusmods.com at these two links again. And here are two youtube videos to watch.
