Hello everyone! So what is your favorite type of video game? Are you into any specific genre or do you mix two things together sometimes? You can choose from things like action games, shooting games that have to do with fighting, city building games where you make a city grow, flight simulators, first-person shooters, tactical games in real life situations, platformers, racing games, strategy games for groups of people, fighting games, stealth games, and role-playing games.

My favorite type is mostly First-Person Shooters (FPS), but I also like some Third-Person action games like Gears of War 4, Mass Effect 3, Dead Space, Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2, and Just Cause. Even though FPS is my top choice, I am not really an expert at video games; I just play casually. But I have been playing FPS stuff since the early days of DOOM, Quake, Hexen, Heretic, Duke Nukem 3D, Wolfenstein, Soldier of Fortune, Painkiller, Half-Life, F.E.A.R., Call of Duty series, and Battlefield series. Here is a list of the games I own; they are all legal and not pirated. This list isn't perfect because some titles aren't famous to everyone else, but Aliens Rage, Aliens vs Predator 2, Alpha Prime, Area 51 are on this list.

I love shooting these games. Battlefield 3, 4, 5, Hardline, BF: Bad Company 2, BioShock 1 and 2, Bordelands 1 and 2, Breed (the classic one), Brothers in Arms: Road to Hill 30 earned in Blood and Hell's Highway are all on the list. Bulletstorm is my favorite shooter of all time. Call of Duty series from start till end, Call of Juarez, Chaser is my absolute favorite FPS ever made. The Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena, Clive Barker's Jericho are also great shooters. Contract J.A.C.K., Hell Yes lol!, Crusis 1 and 2 and 3, Doom, Doom 2 and 3, BFG edition, and Doom (2016) are all here. Duke Nukem 3D: Atomic Edition, Dying Light, F.E.A.R. series, Far Cry series, Half-Life series, Halo: Combat Evolved, Hard Reset are also included. I found Hard Reset too tough for me; I had to use cheats or trainers to win it. Heretic, Hexen, Medal of Honor series, No One Lives Forever 2: A Spy in H.A.R.M.'s Way (I love the character Cate Archer), Painkiller series, Prey (only the first game from 2006) are on this list too. Project Snowblind is my MOST favorite FPS right now. You guys should try playing this shooter! It has a dramatic story about super soldiers in Hong Kong in 2065 who must stop a bad regime.

Quake 1, 2, and 4 are also great shooters. Rage 1 and 2, Red Faction 2: Section 8: Prejudice, Serious Sam series (All the games out till now), Shadow Warrior 1 and 2, SIN Episodes, Soldier of Fortune series, S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl and Clear Sky, SWAT 4, Titanfall 2, TimeShift make the list. I love TimeShift! Tribes: Vengeance has a strong story campaign. Unreal II: The Awakening is also on this list. Wolfenstein: The New Order and The Old Blood are included too. Thanks for reading, NICK.

MMOs like Tera, Blade & Soul, but my absolute favorite is City of Heroes. Open World games I love include Division (the first and second part), Witcher, Fallout, Hitman, Just Cause, and the Assassin's Creed series (my top pick). Even though it's only been about two months since I got a Creed tattoo on my arm, that means I'm already showing off. For FPS games, I started with Battlefield, then Half-Life, and finally AVP:2 back in the early 2000s. My favorite action shooter is COD, but honestly, Modern Warfare 1 was good, but everything after has gotten worse for me. In RTS games, I played Homeworld (both parts), Starcraft, Rise of Nations, and Command & Conquer. For turn-based games, Worms is my pick. There are lots more, but these are the ones I love most.

So, maybe you could make cool things, but I gave it a try and no luck there. I'm just wondering why people think this is so fun when in reality it's really hard. Also, some of the projects they've made, like re-making Mordor, took about nine years to finish...

I'd say for the same reason GTAV is still so popular. You can do just about anything in that game. And unlike GTA, Minecraft has nothing that would make a parent say "no" to a purchase. I like Automation and BeamNG. Automation is a tycoon game and BeamNG is really not a racing game, but that's where it fits the best. Automation allows you to design cars super in-depth. You can design engines and everything else. The graphics are really top tier. Heres a screenshot: https://imgur.com/a/4oMimbI View: https://imgur.com/a/4oMimbI BeamNG allows you to design drive, race, and crash the cars you design in automation. Unfortunately, its not well optimized at all. My 580 struggles at 1080 high. Different maps perform very differently too. https://imgur.com/lTiSM4p View: https://imgur.com/lTiSM4p Heres a car called the Nefice Allegiance. Its an 80s muscle car with a massive v8, in its natural habitat doing a burnout.

I'm not 100% sure yet, but I do think that younger gamers mostly like Minecraft. It's a good game for everyone to play, and my opinion is solid.
