I own a set of RAM sticks each measuring 4GB with DDR4 2133 Low Profile Patriot memory. I wanted to learn more about these units, so I looked up "Patriot Low Profile DDR4 2133" and found that most listings either have large heatsinks or the same models are available in DDR3. I'm now puzzled because the model numbers I found match eBay offers for DDR3. I don’t know what this kit is or if it’s currently available. It turned up in a CyberPowerPC prebuilt. Any advice would be appreciated.

This setup isn't compatible. Make sure you use the right type of memory for the correct slot.

Based on my understanding of memory, whether real or fabricated, it functions effectively when it does. Don't overthink it.
