What is this pin and where to plug?
I checked the forum post and understand the warning. The VDG cable isn't needed unless you're using Gigabyte MB. The red circle marks indicate where the VDG connector should go, which matches your motherboard's addressable RGB header. You can connect it there if you want to use that feature. The blue end goes to the fan controller, so make sure that part is secure.
They previously relied on just three pins, but newer boards adopted a four-pin RGB header setup. Unless you own an older model, you can likely skip the VDG cable.
The board comes from Asrock, not Gigabyte. According to the sticker, avoid using it on your motherboard.
The 3-pin connector with the gap serves as the addressable RGB header on your motherboard. Avoid linking the VDG connector and conceal it discreetly. This cable enables ARGB control for your fan controllers.
