I assembled a fresh PC last week and it functions flawlessly. Today I removed the GPU for some painting, but noticed the PCIe slot wasn’t aligned properly—am I misinterpreting something? I’m hoping to plug it back in once the sag bracket dries so I can test it, though I’m a bit anxious about this new setup.

Top PCIe connector close to the silver section, right above the CMOS battery—does it seem damaged? Could be a sign of something going wrong.

It seems the issue might be caused by debris in the PCIe slot area. You could try using a strong air compressor to clear it out.

Thank you, my wife has sharper vision than me and she agreed, it was just a bit of dust, everything is functioning properly.
