I opened my computer and started playing GTA V. I was eager to install the update as soon as it was available. Unfortunately, the Rockstar servers are running slow right now. This isn’t normal. They need to fix this and provide better servers. I understand if I’m being a bit loud, but it’s frustrating to be getting only 3.2 kbps instead of the usual 120mbps.

Occurrences like this also took place during the game launch week.

It’s possible the game is being updated via Steam, but your Steam account might not have the necessary permissions or access. Double-check your connection and ensure you’re logged in with the correct credentials.

1. Your internet connection is terrible!
2. The system could be too busy...

It's due to a high number of simultaneous downloads. R* servers aren't compatible with Steam.

I began the update around six minutes ago and it’s now done with installation... it wrapped up while I was writing. My connection was a bit slower than others, but not extremely so. The R* servers seem to be handling heavy traffic.

This should be occurring; others are also attempting to download the update from R* servers. The 3.2KBps is far lower than 120Mbps, and bytes and kilobytes are different units. Your 120Mb is equivalent to about 15MB.
