Not a hardware problem, just my roommates. She experiences extreme heat on the CPU when loading a game (7700x) at temperatures above 90°C. I've noticed it drops to around 96-98°C occasionally until she starts playing. Her RAM sometimes reaches 80-90% utilization even when idle. The issue seems to be that the system reports about three-quarters of its capacity being used, leaving roughly 8GB available. Today her monitor also faced this problem. The motherboard (ASRock X670E Pro RS) would show CPU and RAM status lights before restarting itself after a reboot. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

The cooler appears to need inspection and reattachment, and it seems her computer has some issues with its setup. I’d confirm that the GPU is correctly seated in the PCIe slot and verify the connections are secure. Which cooler is she using? Does she have 32GB of RAM installed? Was this a new installation or a migration?

It was a brand new setup with Windows and a motherboard BIOS. EXPO was running a RAM test, so everything was reset to defaults yet it still works. We inspected the cooler and noticed the CPU remained very hot. This was an unusual build I've ever seen. Here are the details: CPU: AMD R7 7700X GPU: AMD Red Devil 7900XTX (3.0 PCIE vertical mount) RAM: 32GB TForce 6000mhz PSU: Corsair 850W gold RmX Cooling solutions: Top Rad for CPU: Aquacomputer Airplex Modularity Rad Distro plate: Custom for the thermaltake view 51 chassis Coolant: Ek Cryofuel Acid Green
